He worked as Medical Director & Head of the Dept. of Hair transplantation & Cosmetic surgery at Oliva Hair Transplantation & Cosmetic Surgery Center from the year 2010-2015.
Dr. K Balasubrahmanyam has also worked as a full time consultant Plastic Surgeon at Prime Hospitals at KPHB & Ameerpet from the year 2007 to 2010. He worked as a full time consultant Plastic Surgeon at Sigma Hospital from the year 2005 to 2007.
He worked as a Plastic Surgeon, as visiting consultant at Care Hospital, Musheerabad, Secunderabad.
