Aster Group on the occasion of 30th Anniversary, has extended this opportunity to citizens across the globe who would like to serve people within their capacity. Aster Volunteers is a healthcare and wellness initiative that focuses on spreading hope and inspiring people to look out for each other. All you need is some time on hand and the urge to do something good in your heart, so that you can be there to those in need. So far, over 6000 people across the globe have enrolled and many people have received help. Many people could join hands and serve as many in need. There is no better way to give back to the society.”
‘Aster Volunteers’ program, a platform for people who wish to do something positively impact change and serve the society – medically and non – medically. As part of Aster@30 Initiative, the group provided Basic Life Support (BLS) Trainings in communities and various groups of society, free surgeries, MRI scans and free investigations, treatments to BPL sections of the society. The group also recruited differently- abled individuals across various verticals and geographies and felicitated Unsung Heroes at all Units of the Group.
People felicitated today are Mr. Goutham Kumar, Founder – Serve Needy Social Service Organization, Ms. Manjula Pallipoyena, Director – Volunteering and projects at TEN – Betzedek & Goodwill Store for Poor and Mr. Venkat Naik, Founder of Public Health Society and Waste Warrior.
